This was the most beautiful summer day. Soft romantic flowers, lush greenery, a beautiful couple, and their two adorable pups. But, the real showstopper was the 24ft hanging installation we did for the head table. It was everything! Lush greenery and soft summer blooms draped over the wedding party at one of our favorite venues in Chicago (Company 251). To balance the space we did loose greenery and heavy candle treatment for the head table and all florals on the reception tables. An asymmetrical growing arch was the perfect backdrop for the couple to say “I do” in front of close friends and family.

And if the wedding day wasn’t perfect enough, the groom planned a surprise birthday party for the bride the following day! How sweet is he! He reached out because he knew how important flowers were to the bride, we made sure the birthday party was filled with her favorite summer blooms too.

Pastels

Sometimes all you need are some soft pastels with a hint of a gorgeous peony to brighten your day.  

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year I decided to do something a bit different for Thanksgiving.  Instead of the traditional orange tons I went for burgundy and berry tones.  It created such warmth at the table, I just loved it!

Pretty pink wedding

I worked with one of the easiest going brides recently (lucky aren't I!) and had such a great time creating her bridal bouquet and the bouquets for the girls.  The pink garden rose O'hara are so dreamy I can't stop looking at them!  Take a look at these beauties. 

Garden roses

Garden roses are simply gorgeous and worth every penny (if you ask me), especially the David Austin variety which is to die for!  I put together a few arrangements using David Austin Juliet peach roses, pink o'hara garden roses and other various roses and greenery including dusty miller which gives it a hint of romance.  

Fall flowers

Oops, I completely forgot to post these photos of fall arrangements I did awhile back.  These are simple, festive arrangements that exude the spirit of fall.  So, even if it is pretty much winter outside let's take a step back and remember fall!

I think this branch centerpiece is so perfect for a fall wedding or event!  The leaves on the table give it an extra touch and candles always create the mood.
