When Christi Lee Photography reached out to do a styled shoot at the new Company 251 venue I couldn’t say no. Not only is she the sweetest and incredible to work with, but the venue is to die for. I mean seriously, the marble tables are everything! Check out more photos from our amazing shoot as featured on 100 Layer Cake.
A rainy day in April didn't stop these two from having a stunning wedding at the incredibly gorgeous South Shore Cultural Center. And can I just take a second to gush over these photos by Hello Rose Photography, I mean seriously!! They are absolutely dreamy.
It's freezing outside, so I'm just going to chill in front of my computer and look at pretty pictures of flowers and happy couples. Amanda and Max were a pleasure to work with. When I heard she wanted an Italian Mediterranean theme for her big day I was all over it. Here are a few photos from the amazing photographer Sally O'Donnell Photography and some taken by yours truly.
So excited to share some photos from a gorgeous spring wedding for a beautiful couple.
This arrangement is so classic and romantic and would be perfect for a wedding, bridal shower or even a baby shower really.
Sometimes all you need are some soft pastels with a hint of a gorgeous peony to brighten your day.
Had a lot of fun putting together mockups for an upcoming wedding.
Hurray for 2016! I'm seriously so excited for all the beautiful weddings coming up this year that are on my calendar. I thought I'd share a sneak peek at the inspiration behind some of them.
It may be the new year and a new pantone color, but since I forgot to post this from the fall I'll post it now :) Berry tones are perfect for the fall and winter. They are rich and gorgeous. I put together two large arrangements filled with berry tones with a hint of purple for balance this fall that I loved. Unfortunately, my photos didn't turn out the best, but I wanted to share anyways :)
Thanks to Maggie Russo Photography for the incredible shots of a wedding I did in June! There were so many excellent photos I couldn't choose which ones I liked the best, so I decided to post all the ones I loved :)
Another congratulations and thank you to Lauren and Joe for including The Petal on your big day. Such a wonderful couple, wishing them all the happiness together.
Love it when I see an email from a photographer with photos from a wedding I did. The photos just bring everything to life. Here are the highlights from the wedding I did in June. Thanks so much George Street Photography for sending these over!
Inspiration is everywhere. I find it in nature, my kids, the city, and in my backyard. Right now I've been really inspired by romantic bouquets with a lot of movement. Loose greenery gives it a delicate feel that's whimsical and natural. Take a look at these gorgeous bouquets that have been inspiring me lately.
I worked with one of the easiest going brides recently (lucky aren't I!) and had such a great time creating her bridal bouquet and the bouquets for the girls. The pink garden rose O'hara are so dreamy I can't stop looking at them! Take a look at these beauties.
I was SO lucky to work with an amazing bride this summer at the beautiful Hotel Allegro Downtown Chicago. They just renovated the hotel and it is STUNNING! Perfect balance of modern and vintage. So, when the bride requested modern, garden wedding flowers that compliment the hotel I was all over it. Here are a few photos of the day...
One of this years big trends is Garden-inspired weddings. Whether you use gorgeous garden roses, tons of greenery, or wild looking arrangements you are sure to capture this look and feel. I put together a centerpiece that would look great at any garden wedding filled with beautiful purple lisianthus, hyacinth, stock, wax flower and tons of lush greenery. This long centerpiece looks amazing on this rustic, wood table.
If you are having a rustic wedding a loose hand-tied bouquet is perfect for you! Take a look at this bouquet of coral roses, scabiosa, queen anne's lace and tons of gorgeous greenery.
