Check out our latest feature in Minnesota Bride Magazine!

Tajalli Missaghi

I spy Melissa and Mitch’s wedding day featured in the latest Minnesota Bride Magazine. This amazing couple had to postpone their wedding due to Covid-19, but that didn’t stop them. We partnered with an incredible vendor team to bring this intimate celebration to life. Style Architects planned and designed the couples wedding day and post celebration in Ireland. You heard that right. They took 40 of their guests on a trip to Ireland to continue the festivities.

Everything about this intimate day was planned and executed perfectly. And I will never get over that cake! Scroll down for the full vendor list.

Could this couple be any more handsome and photogenic? Every photos is more stunning than the next. And don’t get me started on Shikha’s showstopping dresses. I can’t pick a favorite…and I won’t! They are both exquisite.

We partnered with Phos Events to hang chandeliers and florals down the aisle for the ceremony and it was epic! Since this was a room flip we made sure the head table was right under the gorgeous chandeliers to create an amazing focal point in the room. It was magical!

When a bride comes to us and requests peonies we do a happy dance! Especially when it is peony season! So, when Kayla specifically said she wanted peonies in her bouquet we knew we were the perfect fit. It was a gorgeous day with an outdoor courtyard ceremony and gorgeous reception filled with gold geometric accents. The perfect balance of modern and timeless. First time working at the Van Dusen Mansion and it did not disappoint. Photos by Gina Ziedler Photography.

This sweet couple was looking for an elegant, romantic wedding filled with varying shades of lavender and plum.  I don't typically work with these colors, so I was really excited to get my hands on something a bit different.  So happy with how everything turned out!

Happy New Year!

Tajalli Missaghi

Bring it on 2017!

This year was incredible.  I honestly couldn't have done it without the support of my family and the amazing clients I've worked with.  Seriously though, I have the BEST clients!  So honored they let me be creative and to make magic on their wedding days.

I've learned and grown a lot this year and I can't wait to see what's in-store for 2017.  Growing as a florist and a business has been a process, but after 2 years of The Petal I can finally say I'm completely confident and happy with where my brand is going, who I am as a designer, and all the possibilities for the future.

Here are some highlights from this year.

Amanda + Max

It's freezing outside, so I'm just going to chill in front of my computer and look at pretty pictures of flowers and happy couples.  Amanda and Max were a pleasure to work with.  When I heard she wanted an Italian Mediterranean theme for her big day I was all over it.  Here are a few photos from the amazing photographer Sally O'Donnell Photography and some taken by yours truly.

I was so lucky to work with such a sweet couple for a wedding in spring of this year.  They were so happy and easy-going it made it so easy to work with them.  It was such a pleasure.

The bride requested rich, vibrant colors to compliment their traditional Chinese wedding.  The balance of the rich pinks, purples and blush tones complimented the venues red and gold accents.  And that archway!  Boy was it a pain to get it in and out of the courtyard of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, but it was totally worth it!

All packed up and looking amazing.

Classic and elegant wedding

Tajalli Missaghi

I love the feeling of opening my email and seeing photos from a wedding I've done.  Elizabeth and Keith had a classic and elegant wedding filled with gorgeous peonies and hydrangeas at the Metropolitan Club of Willis Tower.  What a view!  The venue was gorgeous and this couple is so sweet.
